- Maintain cleanliness and dryness around the charge point socket; use a clean, dry cloth for cleaning.
3. Secure Usage: #
- Refrain from contact with the socket pin while the unit is powered.
- Refrain from using the charge point if visible damage is apparent; consult a certified technician immediately.
- In the event of any anomalies, promptly cut off incoming power supplies.
4. Additional Safety Considerations: #
- Safeguard the charge point against lightning and heavy rain.
- Keep the charge point inaccessible to children.
- Refrain from driving the EV during the charging process; limit charging to stationary EVs.

1. Charging Cable Use: #
- Before usage, always inspect the charging cable and connectors for signs of damage and contamination.
- Connect the plug exclusively to a suitable vehicle inlet.
- Following the charging session, disconnect the charging plug from the vehicle.
2. Handling Instructions: #
- Some vehicles may start with the charging cable connected; disconnect before driving.
- Store the charging cable out of children’s reach.
- Handle the plug with care; avoid stepping or driving over it and the cable.
- Before connecting to the vehicle, fully uncoil the cable length from the charger.
DON’Ts #
1. Operational Restrictions: #
- Avoid operation in the presence of physical defects like cracks, breaks, or corrosion; in doubt, contact us.
- Only authorized specialists and certified personnel may undertake actions like opening, disassembling, repairing, altering, or modifying your Humax charger.
2. Device Handling: #
- Refrain from removing symbols or components from the device, including safety symbols, warning notices, rating plates, identification plates, or cable markings.
- Humax Home chargers are suitable for use only within specified operational parameters and ambient temperatures (-25°C to 45°C).
- Do not expose the cover to rain.
- Never use a compromised charging cable or wet/dirty connectors.
- Do not use the charging cable with an extension cord or adapter unless explicitly permitted.
