Screen Overview #
Set the charger’s network information and connect with Humax Server (or selected service platform).
You can operate the charger in online state through Wi-Fi or LAN (Ethernet) connection.
※ Depending on charger firmware version, charger may reboot automatically when network settings are applied.
Feature Details #



- Connection Method
Location: Top of screen
Functionality: Select connection method between Wi-Fi and LAN (Wired). Stable method is recommended according to charger installation environment.
Notes: When Wi-Fi is selected, SSID search and input field are displayed, and when LAN is selected, cable connection is checked without separate setting. - Wi-Fi Selection Dropdown
Location: When ‘Wi-Fi’ is selected in Connection Method
Functionality: Search for nearby 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signals and select from the list, or manually enter hidden network (SSID).
Notes: Displayed with signal strength icon when SSID is selected, and password input field is exposed at the bottom. - Enter Wi-Fi Password
Location: Displayed after Wi-Fi SSID selection
Functionality: Enter the password of the selected Wi-Fi network. Provides password show/hide toggle and delete all button.
Notes: Entered information can be modified. - Enter Manually
Location: Within Wi-Fi area
Functionality: If checkbox is activated, ‘Wi-Fi Name’ and ‘Password’ input fields are exposed instead of Wi-Fi selection dropdown, allowing manual information input.
Notes: Only Enter Manually feature may be provided depending on charger firmware version. - Connection Service Dropdown
Location: Below Wi-Fi (SSID) setting
Functionality: Select the platform to connect the charger. Default is “Humax Charge”, and connection platform selection modal is displayed when selected.
Notes: When “Enter Manually” is selected, field to directly enter OCPP server URL is activated. - OCPP URL Input Field
Location: Below Connection Service dropdown area
Functionality: If Enter Manually button is pressed in Connection Service dropdown, you can manually enter and modify OCPP websocket address.
Notes: If platform to connect is selected in Connection Service dropdown, provided OCPP URL information cannot be modified. - Connect Button
Location: Bottom of screen
Functionality: Applies network setting information to the charger. Charger network configuration process proceeds.
Notes: Activated when mandatory information input is completed.
Additional Info #
- Wi-Fi Restriction: Only 2.4GHz Wi-Fi is supported. 5GHz exclusive networks cannot be connected.
- Setting Information Storage: Network information configured on the charger is stored in the charger.
Specific Scenarios #
- Wi-Fi network not found
Displayed when Wi-Fi scan is complete but there are no searched networks.
→ Displayed with empty list and “No available Wi-Fi networks found.” message.
→ You can proceed with re-search by pressing “Search Again” button.
→ It is necessary to check if the charger is in a location capable of receiving 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal. - Manual Entry
Case where Wi-Fi not in list or custom server (OCPP) is used.
→ Wi-Fi: Select “Enter manually” checkbox and directly enter SSID and password.
→ Service: Select “Enter Manually” and enter OCPP server URL starting with “ws://” or “wss://”.
Technical Details #
- Setting Transmission via BLE: All network settings are encrypted and transmitted to charger via BLE connection.
- Wi-Fi Scan Cycle: Charger scans nearby Wi-Fi information when Wi-Fi dropdown list is pressed, and re-scans upon user request thereafter.
FAQ #
- Q. Connection fails even though Wi-Fi password is correct.
A. 1) Check if router supports 2.4GHz band. 2) Check if SSID is selected correctly. 3) Try rebooting the router. 4) Try reducing distance between charger and router. - Q. Charger reboots after network setting, is it normal?
A. Yes, depending on firmware version, charger may reboot to apply network configuration information to charger. Reboot takes about 1~2 minutes. - Q. Where can I check Connection Service URL?
A. This OCPP server URL is set automatically. If using a custom server, you can receive the URL from service provider and enter manually. - Q. Can I change already set network information?
A. Yes, possible. If you reconnect to charger in app, existing settings are displayed. Modify and press “Connect” button to proceed with network connection.
