If the capacity is insufficient, we may need to de-rate the product or put the installation on hold until your electricity supplier upgrades the main fuse.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">8.4\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0We collaborate with a group of approved third-party installers (\u201c<strong>Partner Installers<\/strong>\u201d), as well as our own in-house installation team to perform the installation.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">8.5\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Under specific circumstances, including where you are eligible for an OZEV EV ChargePoint grant or require a bespoke installation or installation services outside of those we regularly provide, we may direct your order to a Partner Installer so that they can conduct your installation. This may happen if your installation is not standard, requires additional works, or if there are no installation slots available with our in-house installers. In such cases, your contract for the installation will be with the Partner Installer on their own terms.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">8.6\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0If we direct you to a Partner Installer after you have placed your order with us:<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">8.6.1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0the Partner Installer who receives your order will contact you to arrange an installation date, visit your property to perform the installation, and deliver any accessories (if not already sent via post).<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">8.6.2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0the Partner Installer will also request that you complete any documentation necessary to claim the OZEV EV ChargePoint grant on your behalf if you have applied it to your order.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">8.7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The area where the products are to be installed must be cleared by you and made ready for the installation on the agreed date of the installation. Where you fail to clear the area and it is necessary for us to do this, you shall pay our adequate charges for this.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">8.8\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0You agree to give access to the premises to us, our Partner Installers and all related staff at all reasonable times so that we may complete the installation.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">8.9\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0We shall not:<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">8.9.1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0carry out any structural alteration or building work;<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">8.9.2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0be responsible for and will not undertake any wiring, electrical, plumbing or heating work unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing;<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">8.9.3\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0be responsible for the safety of all materials left on site and part completed installation as this shall be your responsibility; and<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">8.9.4\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0unless expressly agreed otherwise by us in writing, undertake any decorating work or be responsible for any damage caused to plastering, tiling or decorations.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">8.10\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Upon completion of installation, we will send you an installation confirmation email and register the installation date on our server for warranty activation purposes.<\/p><p><strong>9\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Right to cancel<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">9.1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0You\u00a0have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">9.2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Unless requested by you during the installation, we won&#8217;t schedule your installation or provide installation services during the 14-day cooling off period.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">9.3\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0You agree that we can, at your request, start work before the end of the cooling off period. Where you ask us to do this, you agree that we can charge you for any goods delivered or services carried out by us up to the point you notify us that you wish to terminate this agreement.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">9.4\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Subject to\u00a09.3, the cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which\u00a0you\u00a0acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by\u00a0you\u00a0acquires, physical possession of\u00a0the products.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">9.5\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0To exercise the right to cancel,\u00a0you\u00a0must inform\u00a0us\u00a0of\u00a0your\u00a0decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g.\u00a0a letter sent by post or email) using the contact details at the top of this page.\u00a0You\u00a0may use the model cancellation form available below, but it is not obligatory.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">9.6\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for\u00a0you\u00a0to send\u00a0your\u00a0communication concerning\u00a0your\u00a0exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.<\/p><p><strong><a name=\"_Toc256000005\"><\/a>10\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Effects of cancellation<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">10.1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0If\u00a0you\u00a0cancel this contract before installation,\u00a0we\u00a0will reimburse to\u00a0you\u00a0all payments received from\u00a0you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if\u00a0you\u00a0chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by\u00a0us).<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">10.2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0We\u00a0may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any product supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by\u00a0you.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">10.3\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Subject to 10.1 and 10.4, we\u00a0will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">10.3.1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a014 days after the day\u00a0we\u00a0received back from\u00a0you\u00a0any product supplied; or<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">10.3.2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0(if\u00a0earlier) 14 days after the day\u00a0you\u00a0provide evidence that\u00a0you\u00a0have returned the product; or<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">10.3.3\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0if there were no product supplied, 14 days after the day on which\u00a0we\u00a0are informed about\u00a0your\u00a0decision to cancel this contract.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">10.4\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0We\u00a0will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as\u00a0you\u00a0used for the initial transaction, unless\u00a0you\u00a0have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event,\u00a0you\u00a0will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">10.5\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0If\u00a0you\u00a0have received the product:<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">10.5.1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0you shall send back the product without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. If you purchased the product from a third party, our warranty only applies to problems with the product itself and not to issues arising from the installation. Please see clause\u00a013.5\u00a0and\u00a013.6\u00a0below for more information on what our warranty does not cover.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">13.2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The warranty period starts on the date of installation and only applies to products installed in the UK. If you notice any fault or defect, please report it to us promptly via\u00a0<em><u>uk.support@humaxcharging.com<\/u>\u00a0<\/em>and include the serial number, installation date, and a brief description of the issue.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">13.3\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The warranty period for each product will begin from the date of installation if the installation is completed within two (2) months of the purchase date and the installation date is registered on the Humax server (registration occurs when Humax sends the customer an installation confirmation email and the installation date is recorded on our server). If the installation takes place later than two (2) months after the purchase date, the warranty period will instead start from the purchase date.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">13.4\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Our technical team will assess the problem and contact you for further details, and if necessary, schedule a service visit. We reserve the right to decide whether to repair or replace the product or any faulty parts or installation, using new or reconditioned equipment. Alternatively, we may replace the product with a newer version.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">13.5\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0If you need to reschedule the service visit, please notify us at least two working days in advance. Failure to provide adequate notice or access to the product may result in an additional fee as per our &#8220;Schedule of Additional Charges&#8221; below. The repair or replacement of the product or parts under warranty does not extend the original warranty period.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">13.6\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Our Warranty does not cover normal ageing, accidental damage, and wear-and-tear (such as discoloration, normal corrosion\/oxidation) or faults arising from abnormal usage or environmental conditions (such as extreme adverse weather, fire, wind or water damage or other natural disasters) are not covered by our warranty.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">13.7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The warranty will become void if:<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">13.7.1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0the product is opened, moved, modified, tampered with or repaired by someone other than a Humax authorised electrician;<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">13.7.2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0the product is used in a manner that does not comply with the relevant product User Guide or other user or installation instructions issued by us (including storage, installation, use or maintenance);<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">13.7.3\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0the product is used with any connected equipment (such as a charging cable) that is not supplied by us or recommended for use by us with a product; or<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">13.7.4\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0the product is stored in an unsuitable location.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">13.8\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0In the case of faulty products being repaired or replaced by us, we may return them to our laboratory for assessment. If the fault is found to have arisen due to any reason not covered by our warranty, we reserve the right to recover the repair or replacement costs from you.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">13.9\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0If you did not purchase your product directly from us, our warranty only covers faults arising with the product itself, and not with the installation. This will not affect your rights under these terms or under our warranty.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">15.3\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0You may not transfer our contract with you or your rights under it without first getting our written consent.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">15.4\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0If you breach these terms and we do nothing or delay taking action, we will still be entitled to take action to enforce this breach or a similar or subsequent breach of the contract with you.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">15.5\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Each of the paragraphs in these terms operate separately. We are not responsible for the information you decide to publish or share in the Forum.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">16.2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0We reserve the right to remove any communications that we reasonably deem to be obscene, defamatory, abusive or inconsistent with the purposes of the Forum at any time. If you publish any content of this nature, you will be held personally liable for any resulting losses or damages to us.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">16.3\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0It is important to note that when using the Forum, internet transmissions are never entirely private or secure.
