Auto Solar Charging is an eco-friendly charging method that charges electric vehicles using surplus solar power remaining after household power consumption. If surplus Solar power remains after use at home, you can save power costs by utilizing that power for charging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the charging connector is connected to the vehicle (EV) while Auto Solar Mode is activated, charging proceeds automatically according to the timing when surplus Solar power is generated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u203b Auto Solar Charging may repeat charging start and pause depending on solar power generation and household power usage situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Surplus Solar Energy Generation Guidance<\/strong>
    Location: Center of screen
    Functionality: When surplus Solar power is detected, “Auto Solar Mode will start once your EV is connected.” guidance text is displayed.
    Notes: When Auto Solar charging becomes possible, a Push notification informing of this is provided together.

  2. Connect Connector<\/strong>
    Location: Center of screen
    Functionality: When the charging connector is connected to the vehicle, Auto Solar charging utilizing surplus Solar power starts automatically. Text informing that Auto Solar charging is in progress is displayed at the top of the screen.
    Notes: Even if Auto Solar charging is in progress, the pre-set schedule charging operates normally at the set time.

  3. Pause Charging
    <\/strong>Location: Center of screen
    Functionality: If surplus power is insufficient, charging pauses with ‘Paused. Resumes on solar surplus’ message.
    Notes: If surplus power is generated again, it resumes automatically, and you can end Auto Solar charging by pressing the Stop button in the app.
